Terms of service

Plain language, no traps.

These terms describe what Vayl does, what you agree to when you use it, and what neither of us is responsible for. They are short on purpose; long boilerplate hides things, and that is not the brand.

What Vayl is

An athletic data platform. You log what you do (training, food, supplements, doses, sleep, biomarkers). Vayl organizes it on a single timeline and surfaces patterns and anomalies. That is the entire scope.

What Vayl is not

  • Not a medical device. Not a diagnostic tool. Not a doctor, coach, dietitian, pharmacist, or trainer.
  • Vayl never recommends doses, never prescribes protocols, never tells you what to do. It reveals, you decide.
  • Not a substitute for professional advice. If a number concerns you, talk to a qualified human.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time (30-day grace for accidental deletion, then hard-deleted).

Pricing & refunds

  • Free trial 14 days, no card required.
  • Pro $11.90/month or $89/year (≈ $7.40/mo equivalent).
  • Annual plans: refund within 30 days, no questions asked.
  • Monthly plans: cancel anytime; no partial-month refunds.
  • Prices in USD; EU/BR adjusted at signup.

Acceptable use

You will not reverse-engineer the product, share your account, or use Vayl to coordinate activity that is illegal where you live. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the platform, with a minimum 7-day notice except in cases of clear ongoing harm.

Liability

Vayl is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by your local consumer protection law (in EU: Directive 2019/770; in BR: CDC), our maximum aggregate liability is limited to what you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Changes

Material changes to these terms are announced in the public changelog with at least 30 days notice. You can cancel before they take effect.

Jurisdiction

Governed by the laws of Portugal, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
