One timeline, on purpose.
Athletes who actually track everything end up with five apps open and none of them talking to each other. Lifts in one, macros in another, sleep on a wearable, supplements in a note, results in a screenshot. The patterns hide in the gaps.
Vayl is the tool we wished we had. Nothing more, nothing less.
What Vayl is
An athletic data platform. Phone for the runtime — between sets, in the kitchen, on the road. Desktop for the patterns — builder, comparisons, exports.
We log what you log: training, nutrition, supplements, sleep, body measurements, and results you choose to enter. We surface the relationships across that data using statistical methods you can audit — Spearman, Pearson, Welch's t-test, MAD anomaly detection. The math is plain. The data is yours.
What Vayl is not
We do not recommend doses, diets, or training plans. We do not tell you what your numbers mean. We do not award streaks, badges, or wellness rings. We do not pretend to replace any human you trust.
If you want guidance, hire a coach. If you want a clinical opinion, see your doctor. We will export every record you ever logged — PDF, CSV, all of it — so you can show it to whoever you want. The line between data and advice is sharp on purpose.
Who it's for
Athletes who actually track. Lifters, runners, triathletes, CrossFitters, biohackers, the person on a structured program with a real coach, the person running their own protocol. Professional, amateur, hobbyist — what you have in common is that you write things down and want to see what they mean.
If you log nothing, Vayl is not for you. If you log everything, every other app eventually frustrates you. That frustration is who we are building for.
Trust, by absence
You will not find testimonials with faces and quotes. You will not find logos of publications that mentioned us. You will not find a counter showing how many athletes have joined. You will not find badges, certifications, or partner seals.
Trust, in 2026, lives in what a product refuses to fake. Vayl publishes the changelog. Vayl shows the boundaries. Vayl exports your data. The rest is noise.
Founder note
Built in Lisbon by one person — entrepreneur of fifteen years, fifteen years studying biomechanics and nutrition on my own. Not a doctor. Not a coach. Not a software engineer. The spreadsheet I refused to keep maintaining became the tool you are looking at.
If it works for me, it might work for you. If it does not, the data still walks home with you.
